Bio:
John Fancher, a born-n-bred Okie, got inspired to start taking pictures after a portrait session at Olan Mills, on the occasion of his third birthday. Was it something about the mesmerizing strobe flashes, mixing with the strong smell of developing chemicals, that slanted and enchanted a young mind? Is it the thought that holding time still is actually a possibility? Maybe it's just an excuse to feed voyeuristic tendencies without appearing like a felon? Whatever the excuse, documenting time and its corrosive penalties on the mind is honest entertainment. And for a victim of reoccuring head injuries, pictures serve as constant reminders of what memories should look like.
