Bright Eyes has returned to the studios with producer Mike Mogis to record their next full-length, entitled
I'm Wide Awake It's Morning. Conor Oberst, AKA Bright Eyes, said to NME this month: "A lot of the songs are more traditional folk, country-sounding stuff, and then we have some other stuff with like two drummers-- more beat-oriented, more grooves, not necessarily dancey but just [has] a good beat to it." Apparently you'll be able to hear some of these new tunes ahead of the scheduled January date if you catch them on
tour.
