The band describes their e.p., "Miles to Climb," as "mellow indie pop on the deep end featuring pretty vocal harmonies and memorable hooks," and I would agree. They use a nice instrumental blend including a relaxed, jazzy sax that really adds a richness to the tunes.

Track listing:

01 Dead End Friend
02 Miles to Climb
03 Dark Day
04 The Living

My favorites are "The Living," what I interpreted as a contemplative song questioning how the afterlife can compare to the meaning of "summer days, backyard, my dog and little brother," and "Miles to Climb," involving a not too uncommon dichotomy in the relationship between the relaxed character singing and the unsatisfied person described in the song. The song describes the subject as "a moth in flight, hovering in the lamplight," who "raced the light," conjuring images of someone with nervous energy, always reaching for his or her great expectations, in this case, only to find "a million miles to climb" and loneliness. These lyrics contrast with the ultra-smooth voices intertwined with mellow guitar and meandering sax and I found it to be a really pleasant song and a nice, thought-provoking e.p.
