The Ponys Laced with Romance In the Red Records

I like the Ponys.
Serious.
I think they remind me of Dinosaur Jr. with fred cole (lollipop shoppe) singing.
I might change my mind later on, but that’s what I think right now.
I think the ponys make me want to go out and dance, and I hate dancing.
I think they use noise in the right way.
Well, I guess any use of noise is ok, but they do it really good.
Little Friends makes me feel 15 all over again.
Serious.
I hope the nice people at onetimesone will print this just like I’m typing it.
What does laced with romance mean?
I think it means a crush.
Who knew bands could make good songs again?
Fall in has a really good intro.
This isn’t really a stream of consciousness, because I’m consciously writing like this.
The music is making me write like this.
Try it.
Go buy this record.
I think these guys are on tour right now.
If you hear about their show, go see them.
I’m bummed because they went through Memphis right after I left.
I want to stop writing this because I can’t concentrate on the songs.
There’s really too much going on.
Like looking out a mirror.
That guitar line is so good.
Then try to not shake your ass when the first verse starts.

Side two starts off with a cool Motown riff.
I think my dog really likes this song too.
Serious.
That’s why they can’t be an indie band.
Indie bands don’t know shit about Motown.
I think I’m having a hard time trying to really say what I want to about this band.
I know they are versatile.
I know they are catchy.
I know they are noisy.
I know I like them.
I know that if you buy into what I’m feeding you, you’ll like them too.
